BILLY Penland

Billy Penland founded Penland Heating & Air Conditioning in 1979. The company was incorporated in 1986. As a Vietnam War Veteran, family man and father, Billy built Penland into what it is today. Integrity and building strong relationships with various architects and contractors contributed to the success of the business. Many great customer relationships are still going 30+ years later.


Jarrod Penland

Jarrod is the President for Penland Heating & Air Conditioning. He started his career with Penland in 1998 and has worked side by side with Billy on commercial and residential install, service and customer relations for years. Jarrod currently manages all aspects of the business and plans to continue to grow the business by building on the integrity his dad has in this business, with long-time customers and new customers alike. Married with twins and another on the way, Jarrod is always busy at home and at work.

jonathan Penland

Jonathan is the Vice President and Service Manager for Penland Heating & Air Conditioning. He began working in the HVAC field in 2002, and is a NATE-certified technician. He graduated from ECPI College of Technology with an associate degree in IT/Networking and Security Management in 2008. Jonathan has been married for seven years and has a 2-old-daughter. Jonathan is also an accomplished photographer, and enjoys weightlifting and favorite shows such as Breaking Bad, Dexter and The Office.


barbara Penland

Barbara began working at Penland Heating & Air Conditioning in 1985 in the office, handling scheduling, billing and payroll. Penland incorporated in 1986, and Barbara has served as Vice President and Secretary since then. She has worked side-by-side with her husband in the business for many years, and their sons, Jonathan and Jarrod, have grown up familiar with the business and now both work for Penland in management roles. Barbara considers it a blessing to work closely with her family and considers having family so close and her grandchildren as some of the greatest treasures in life.
